  • Toorak. Cul-de-sac. The rhyme may be pleasingly neat, but inside those few short phrases and their effortless cadence lies the story of Matteo, a curvaceous, cantilevered stunner in an exclusive locale, that includes every conceivable luxury. The surprising revelation, its simplicity.

Design director at Trinity Architects, Constantine Procopiou explains the philosophy here as, “Simple in design but detailed in execution. It’s the form that does the talking,” he says. “The materials sitting alongside. They don’t fight each other.”

It’s a succinct, elegant description and while it might be considered unusual to invoke stylistic straightforwardness for a place brimming with luxury finishes, simplicity isn’t always just about the easiest journey between a and b.

  • Matteo by Trinity emerges from a challenging site and is set amongst beautiful homes and streetscapes in Toorak. Pushing the boundaries of design, the home encompasses a fusion of curved forms and cantilevered canopies, elliptical shaped voids and rounded edges that adjoin spaces together, creating a breathtaking bespoke sculptural form. Through pushing the boundaries of design, we wanted the experience of the house to be organic in its movement, free flowing in its design and functional in its form.

Simplistic in its design but detailed in its execution the sophisticated home was inspired by contemporary architectural forms, light-filled spaces as well as timeless and evocative materials used at volume - building on our ethos of ‘Designed for Living’.

  • What a year it's been.

2021 has been a year filled with extreme highs for our business but has also been mixed with extreme sadness. The year began with the completion of Trinity at Central Park, selling out in January. Such a beautiful building, in one of our favourite locations. We couldn't be prouder of what we were able to achieve as a team & can't thank all of our incredible trades for the effort they put in to achieve what we have been able too.

Unfortunately, on the 25th of February we lost our father, grandfather & pillar of strength, Constantinos, after a long & tough battle with cancer. He stood by us through it all and absolutely loved property & building. He has left a remarkable legacy behind and although we miss him beyond words, we are sure that he would be ecstatic to see the business continue to grow.

Within 24 hours of all of this heartbreak we settled on our new site. Grandpa was so excited for the business to expand into Toorak, a dream of his for years. His vision for the house is very much still apart of the project & we know that he would be so proud watching from above the construction that commenced last month.

In amongst all of this, we have started working with new clients, helping them design & bring their visions to life. We also settled on our new office, renovated the space & have moved in. We absolutely love the new space.

We will be pouring the concrete tomorrow at Matteo & then it's time for our team to take a very well-earned time off.

The office reopens on the 17th of Jan 2022, with another jam-packed year ready to get started on. Thank you to all of our family, friends, trades & clients for standing by us for another year. We wish you all a safe & joyous Christmas with your families and a Happy New Year.

    -Constantine & Team Trinity.

  • We loved our old office, it came at the perfect time & gave us the opportunity to grow. After a few short years, our team has expanded & our needs have changed. Following a few long months of planning & renovations we have moved into our new HQ & couldn’t be happier. We can’t wait to welcome our clients and family into our new space to enjoy it with us.
